[Lonesoul - Episode 3]

i like this series..

hey it's me the project x guy..i remember when the first episode came out and it looked like the story of our series was very similar..anyway to the review..you need to work on your art..that's a fact...it doesnt matter if that's the style or if you like it..the thing that should matter the most is that the people who view it will like it...u dont have to be so close minded..dont be like.."it's my style and i'll stick with it whether you like it or not"..there's always room for improvement..you always have to think of making the next movie better than the last...i am working on the last episode of my project x series and the characters are getting a make over..eye candy it's very important in flash..more so in newgrounds..pretty good job though..keep it up!!

Thanks, but you have to see that the art has evolved and is still evolving. If you look at Lonesoul 1, proportions were way off, colours were odd, in Lonesoul 2, there was a new shadow style and better proportions, I think the proportions have gotten a little better and I am still working on that, in Lonesoul 3, and the lines are finer and crisper, one of the few things that has stayed similar throughout is the eyes, and I intend to keep that, while enhancing the rest, so you have to see I'm not sticking with the same art, I'm still constantly trying to improve, while not taking away from the overall style and form of the series. But you also have to realise, that I don't intend to sell out, or change my art for other people, I work for myself, for example, Michelangelo, the artist would not sell out to the Patrons who comissioned him, he stuck with how he wanted it and created great things. Thanks for the review though.

well...

mixing sprites with hand drawn characters..not a good idea...and you should work on your animation..just look how yoshi's size changes in the "stand up" animation..

that metallica joke was funny..i liked the songs u used for the metal part..but i agree with the other guy about the music selection for the techno..is not even real techno like smack my bitch up..fire starter or bang on...besides that i thought it was a cool flash...

that must be the worst song someone could've picked for a mega man movie..and besides the music there werent any other sounds...animation could be better...and well the humor..the humor wasn't there..

so lets see the person who made real cool megaman movies actaully reviewed my movie. nice. too bad....lets see....imagine, if ur fuckin 12 years old, this is ur 4th ever movie especially with sprites and ur kazaa isnt working all that great, what kind of movie would you make? think about it..... no relaly....think about it.... ha i would say this... and i will screw that last comment about thinkin, ur brain is too small to even consider about thinking... ha u got dissed by a 12 year old

it was alright..

but please learn about sound compression...the file size was too big...when you have a 30 second movie and it's 10mb as you said it was it's ovbious something's wrong with the compression..

I tried that on a diferent scale. i converted the mp3 into a wav and cut as much as i needed off and then put it back into a mp3. but the problem was that flash said that it could not read those files. If there is another way of compressing these mp3 then send message to [e-mail]

sorry but...

this doesn't even qualify as a xiao xiao wanna be..just becase there are sticks fighting doesn't mean it's a clone of that great series,you should adjust the frame rate and improve the animations...and if this is not the finished version i dont know why uploading it..there has been a lot of crap on the portal lately and movies like this one submitted by people who just wanted to pass under judgement don't help..why not doing what you said about doing it with better art and more sound before uploading it in the first place?

well..

seeing how you can't stan reviews about the originality and messed up text of your movie i'll review everything else

graphics..decent...but you need to trace your bitmaps better...you can see they are not well traced at the end of the movie. Also the frame rate is too low, i think it's below 10fps, you should speed it up. And you should find the right animations, using the animation of DK swimming when he's supposed to be running is not a good idea. The sound is ok....sound effects are good but damn is that loop annoying. Next you should try to creat at least some kind of story, i find random fights pointless and crappy unless they are really good. Well i hope this review helps you.

[The Necromancer Episode 4]

I still don't get it...

how this series get such a good escore?..yeah there's a good plot but that's it...you should stop tracing some of the characters that or trace all of them from wherever you're getting them cuz it just looks weird to see a cool looking army and then a crappy drawn guard..it's obvious all the art wasnt done by you..but anyway..try to work on that..

Maybe because people actually like it. What do you there's a good plot but that's it? A good plot means nothing to you. I dare you to search NG for a story that comes close to Necromancer or Comet Magnum. Good stories sell, whethere you like them or not.
